                Now we live in 21^st century, this era for new technologies like computing, robotics, nanotechnology etc. Thanks to  globalization we consider the entire world as a village. I would like to call  Wayanad as Gods own Village. I have my own reasons. Wayanad possesses  nature`s bounty, man power, a vibrant youth and more. You must know one important thing too.Wayanad is  the world`s first Leadership Village too.

                                Wayanad e User Group [WeUG] is the new group from AFRC and is dedicated to the children and youth interested in IT.  The main purpose of WeUG is promoting IT and group all IT professional under a single roof, to provide IT related support to Anne Frank Centre. WeUG is in charge of all IT related activities of Leadership Village. Though we have good trainers here in Leadership,Language and Communication technologically our centre needs better support. Talented leaders like Roshan YLP , with a better support can reach places in IT, I am sure.

Why IT is important?
Since IT is popular, what is the need of promoting IT again?    Wayanad is a backward district, and we are deprived of technology. As a graduate of computer science I have shared many ideas with students interested and talented in IT. Luckily I got connected to Leadership Village YLP and along with other trained people like myself I would like to support the students and youth of Wayanad through WeUG.

What we do?

                Now we have started requesting support from various IT professionals.  Our five major programs are listed below

1.       Blogging:: Post IT related articles and news.

2.       Work Shops :: Conduct IT work shops .

3.       Online Training :: Training with the support of Chatting softwares and Power      Point

4.       Online Library :: Provide E-books .

5.       Events :: Conduct events related to IT.

Our AIM

 Using IT as a potential tool to reach out , thus developing the students of Wayanad in sucha way that together they all can contribute for the betterment of Wayanad.  Our dream is to create student partners and professionals from Wayanad, who would be an asset to Wayanad itself.   We would also reduce the level of brain drain from Wayanad . WeUG will act as a common space for anyone who would love to support Leadership Village.                          

Why Wayanad???

                                Wayanad is the  heart of commercial & agricultural, coz it  shares borders of Karnataka & Tamil Nadu. Calicut & Kannur district is near by Wayanad. Wayanad is new IT village. Here lass expensive, large man power & land etc. World’s first leadership village, India’s Living Library is from Wayanad & Wayanad is selected as best IT educational district by Kerala gov. Lets promote IT with Wayanad e User Group [WeUG]
